Terms of Service

The ground rules for using BuzzUp — who may join, what is not allowed, and what happens when someone breaks the rules.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use BuzzUp. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and your email address current. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.

Acceptable use

Be respectful. Harassment, impersonation, spam, and illegal activity are prohibited and may result in suspension or a permanent ban.

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats or intimidation.
  • No impersonating another person or misrepresenting your age.
  • No spam, scams, solicitation or commercial promotion.
  • No sexually explicit or otherwise illegal content.
  • No scraping, automated access, or attempts to bypass limits.

Content

You are responsible for the content you post and you keep ownership of it. You grant us the licence needed to host and display it inside the product. We may remove content or accounts that violate these terms or our safety policies.

Moderation and enforcement

Reports are reviewed by moderators, who can restrict, suspend or ban accounts. Enforcement actions are logged. If your account is restricted you will be told the reason given by the moderator.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

No warranty

BuzzUp is provided as-is. We do not run background checks on members, and we cannot guarantee anyone's conduct — online or in person. Use your judgement and read our safety guidance.
